Prepositions of Time (in, on, at)
Prepositions of time indicate when an action happens, depending on years, days, or hours.
Prepositions of time denote when things occur. In English, we use "at" for precise times (e.g. 5 o'clock, noon), "on" for days and dates (e.g. Monday, Christmas Day), and "in" for longer periods like months, years, centuries, and seasons.
