Japanese Past Negative Conjugation

Past Negative deshita / masen deshita

Forms like "de wa arimasen deshita" and "masen deshita" conjugate nouns and verbs into past negative.

To conjugate nouns or adjectives in polite past negative, we append "de wa arimasen deshita" (was not). For verbs, we change the polite polite present ending "-masu" to "-masen deshita" (did not do).
