Polish prepositions of place determine location and require specific cases (Locative, Accusative, Dative).
Prepositions of place in Polish (w, na, pod, przed, nad) are tightly connected to noun declension. Static location usually governs the Locative (Miejscownik) or Instrumental (Narzędnik) cases, whereas movement toward a location governs the Accusative case.
