Polish word order is flexible, though Subject-Verb-Object remains standard.
Since Polish uses noun cases to clarify grammatical roles, word order is highly flexible. While Subject-Verb-Object (SVO) is the baseline, word order can be shifted to change emphasis, focus, or styling of the message.
Examples
Jan czyta książkę.
Jan is reading a book.
Książkę czyta Jan.
It is Jan who reads the book.
Jutro idziemy do kina.
Tomorrow we are going to the cinema.
