Czech numbers inflect through all seven cases: dva/dvě preserves archaic dual endings (dvou, dvěma), while 5–99 take uniform -i in oblique cases (pěti, deseti).
In Czech, *Numerals (Číslovky)* decline across all seven cases, inflecting to match or govern surrounding nouns:
1. Declension of 'dva' (masc.) and 'dvě' (fem./neuter): Preserves archaic Proto-Slavic *Dual Number (dvojné číslo) endings: - 1. & 4. pád: dva (masc. inanim.), dva (masc. anim. takes dva in Nom. and dva/dvou in Acc.), dvě (fem./neuter) - 2. & 6. pád (Gen./Loc.): dvou (bez dvou studentů / o dvou knihách) - 3. pád (Dat.): dvěma (ke dvěma přátelům) - 7. pád (Ins.): dvěma (se dvěma kolegy*).

Declension of Numbers 5 to 99 (pět až devadesát devět): Remarkably uniform: all oblique cases (Genitive, Dative, Locative, Instrumental) take the ending -i: - bez pěti minut (without five minutes) - k desēti studentům (to ten students) - o dvaceti lidech (about twenty people) - s padesáti korunami* (with fifty crowns).
