Adjectives follow 3 primary patterns: Hard pekný (-ý/-á/-é; subject to rhythmic law), Soft cudzí (-í/-ia/-ie; comparative forms), and Possessive otcov/matkin (-ov/-in).
In Slovak grammar, *Adjective Declension (Sklonovanie prídavných mien)* agrees in gender, number, and case with the modified noun across three main paradigms:
*1. Hard Paradigm (Vzor PEKNÝ): - Stems ending in hard or neutral consonants (nový, starý, dobrý, slovenský): - Masc: pekný (Nom pl. anim: pekní, inanim/fem/neut pl: pekné) - Fem: pekná (Gen/Dat/Loc sg: peknej, Acc sg: peknú, Ins sg: peknou) - Neut: pekné - Subject to Rhythmic Law: If root is long, endings shorten: krásny, krásna, krásne*.

Learner Mistake: Confusing masculine animate plural ending -í (dobrí chlapci) with inanimate/feminine plural -é (dobré stoly, dobré ženy).
