Formal commands (Lei) borrow 3rd-person present subjunctive forms (-are → -i: parli!, -ere/-ire → -a: prenda!), placing pronouns before the verb (mi dica, lo prenda), unlike informal imperatives where pronouns attach to the end (dimmi, prendilo).
