Declension of Compound Numerals (Відмінювання складних числівників)
In compound numerals (50-80, 200-900, and multi-word numbers), each constituent part declines independently (п'ятдесят → п'ятдесяти/п'ятдесятьох; триста сорок два).
In Ukrainian, declining compound and multi-word numerals (відмінювання складних і складених числівників) follows distinct morphological rules depending on the numeral class:
1. *Decades 50–80 (п'ятдесят, шістдесят, сімдесят, вісімдесят): - Only the second part (-десят) inflects; the first root (п'ять-) remains invariable: Nom: п'ятдесят Gen/Dat/Loc: п'ятдесяти (or п'ятдесятьох) Inst: п'ятдесятьма (or п'ятдесятьома) - Common Error: Do not decline the first part (не 'п'ятидесяти', only п'ятдесяти).
2. *Hundreds 200–900 (двісті, триста, чотириста, п'ятсот... дев'ятсот): - Both parts decline simultaneously: Nom: двісті, п'ятсот Gen: двохсот, п'ятисот Dat: двомстам, п'ятистам Inst: двомастами, п'ятьмастами Loc: на двохстах, на п'ятистах
3. *Multi-word Compound Numerals (Складені числівники): - Every single word declines individually in cardinal numbers: сто двадцять три → ста двадцяти трьох → ста двадцятьма трьома. - Exception for Ordinals: In compound ordinal numbers, only the very last word declines: у дві тисячі двадцять четвертому році*.

У збірнику опубліковано понад триста п'ятдесят наукових статей.
Over three hundred and fifty scientific articles have been published in the collection.
Конференція відбудеться у дві тисячі двадцять п'ятому році.
The conference will take place in the year two thousand and twenty-five.
Ми пишаємося шістдесятьма талановитими випускниками нашого факультету.
We are proud of the sixty talented graduates of our faculty.
Директор зустрівся з двомастами іноземними делегатами в мерії.
The director met with two hundred foreign delegates at the city hall.
