Probable Future Tense (-ар/-ер/-р)
The suffix -ар/-ер/-р conveys probable, presumed, or uncertain future actions ('probably will / might do').
The *Probable Future Tense (Болжалды келер шақ) in Kazakh is formed with the suffix -ар / -ер (after consonants) and -р* (after vowels), followed by Type 1 personal endings. It indicates an action that the speaker conjectures or assumes will likely occur in the future, without 100% certainty ('will probably do, might do').
Conjugation Paradigm: - 1st sg. (мен): бар-ар-мын (I will probably go), кел-ер-мін (I will probably come) - 2nd sg. informal (сен): бар-ар-сың, кел-ер-сің - 2nd sg. polite (сіз): бар-ар-сыз, кел-ер-сіз - 3rd sg. (ол): бар-ар, кел-ер (he will probably go / come) - 1st pl. (біз): бар-ар-мыз, кел-ер-міз - 2nd pl. informal (сендер): бар-ар-сыңдар - 2nd pl. polite (сіздер): бар-ар-сыздар - 3rd pl. (олар): бар-ар / бар-ар-лар.
Negative Form in -с: Unlike other tenses, the negative form of the probable future replaces -ар/-ер with -с + personal endings: бар-ма-с-пын (I probably won't go), кел-ме-с (he probably won't come), айт-па-с-пыз (we probably won't say).
