How to use

The verb 'bawić' has two main forms: the active 'bawić' (to entertain / amuse, e.g., 'to mnie bawi' — this amuses me) and the highly common reflexive 'bawić się' (to play / have fun / party, imperfective, perfective pair is 'pobawić się'). It conjugates regularly: 'bawię się', 'bawisz się'. To say 'play with something/someone', use 'bawić się' + instrumental case ('bawić się zabawką' — to play with a toy) or preposition 'z' + instrumental ('bawić się z dzieckiem').
